The "Parchment Stars Dance!" fundraiser pairs local celebrities with professional dancers in a good-natured competition for the coveted mirror-ball trophy! The 2010 fundraiser takes place on Saturday, March 20th, 7pm at the Parchment High School gym!

Don Banner, Parchment City Commissioner, paired with Jill Mason-Downey, co-owner of Kalamazoo DanceSport!

Scott Bielski, Parchment Little League and Rocket Football coach, dancing with professional ballroom instructor Sharon Fisher, owner of Sharon's Dance Studio!

Rob Britigan, City of Parchment Vice-Mayor, dancing with Amy Dunham, musical theatre pro and WMU Color Guard member!

Melissa Brockelbank, co-owner of HQ Salon and Spa, partnered with Art Downey, co-owner of Kalamazoo DanceSport!

Dave Fooy, owner of Scooter D's Restaurant, paired with professional Kelly Dominque, musical theatre professional!

Georganne Hageman, Parchment alumni and WMU student, dancing with James Mulac, professional ballroom instructor from Sharon's Dance Studio in Oshtemo!

Sarah Johnson, Northwood Elementary Principal, partnered with Kyle Waterman, musical theatre professional, choreographer!

Derek Knapp, Parchment Girls Freshman Basketball coach, paired with Kelly White, musical theatre professional, choreographer, and Kindleberger Arts website designer!

Scott Markillie, Parchment alumni, employee of Sherman Lake YWCA Camp and Bell's Brewery, dancing with professional dancer, Katie Ballman, representing the Kalamazoo School of Music and Dance!

Donna Pesch, Parchment Hardings Deli employee, partnered with Nick Mumma, representing the Patti Herm School of Dance, musical theatre professional, and choreographer!

Susan Sonnevil, Parchment alumni and Parchment Library Board member, paired with Tom Shanley, owner of Bolero Dance Studio in Portage!

Brian Stone, Pastor of Haven Church in Kalamazoo, dancing with Michele VanderBeek, professional representing the Ballet Arts School of Dance!

New for 2010! $1 Vote Donations Help Your Favorite "Parchment Star" Win the Mirror-Ball Trophy!

New for 2010, every dollar counts toward helping your favorite dancing couple win the Mirror-Ball Trophy!

Between the dates of February 22nd and March 19th, vote for your favorite "Star" by donating $1, $5, $10, or $50 worth of $1 vote donations!  Any amount you like! The more $1 donations collected by each dancing couple, the more "bonus" votes they are awarded! $1 Vote totals will be weighed into the final results for each pair the evening of the event. $1 = 1/10th Vote! Audience Vote = 1 Vote! The pre-event $1 Vote Fundraiser does NOT replace the audience vote, cast at NO COST, after the dancing competition the evening of the show!

$1 Votes can be donated at ticket sales locations, Parchment City Hall, 650 S. Riverview Dr., PNC-National City Bank, 317 S. Riverview Dr., from "Parchment Stars" dancers, and online at www.kindleberger.org! Your $1 Vote Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.
